A little longer I am afraid…

As widely circulated in the media it would seem the government are intending to allow pubs and restaurants to reopen on the 4th of July and I am sure you probably share our enthusiasm for this to happen.

However, in the absence of any hard and fast guidance from the government, not least official confirmation that we will actually be able to open on that date, we have chosen to take a gradual and cautious approach to reopening our pubs and as such the XXX sadly will not be in the first tranche.

We believe it is vital that staff and customer safety is paramount and have taken the decision to open a limited number of our pubs on that first weekend, we are putting all our time and effort in to ensure that these open successfully and whatever lessons need to be learned can be done on a relatively small scale allowing us to ensure best practice is established as the rest follow.

I am sure this is disappointing but I trust you will understand the need for this approach and am confident that we will reopen soon.

Please keep an eye on our social media where we will keep you up to date with our plans and I really hope we can welcome you back in the very near future.
